We’ve been supporting independent contractors like you for almost eight years. It’s what we do—and we’ve built a supportive, proven model that gives you the freedom to work your way, backed by the stability and connection of a trusted, values-driven team.

We are currently seeking independent Support Coordinators and Psychosocial Recovery Coaches with a minimum of two years of experience. You don’t need to bring a caseload with you. However, if you do, we welcome it and will fully support the onboarding process to ensure participants have genuine choice and control.

Additionally, whether you’re well-established in your community or just starting to build your reputation, we’d love to hear from you—provided your values align with ours.

At this time, we are only engaging contractors. This is not an employed position.

All contractors—whether you’re bringing an existing caseload or starting fresh—must complete our screening and onboarding process. This ensures that everyone who joins CoAbility is aligned with our values, meets our professional standards, and complies with NDIS safeguarding requirements.

In return, we ask for a minimum commitment of 15 hours of billable work per week.

This isn’t our first rodeo. We know what makes your work easier, what keeps our business humming, and what helps our participants get the best possible support.

What makes working with us different:

Supportive Team Culture

You will be part of a small, connected and supportive team. We trust you to work with autonomy and purpose, and we'll be here to guide and support you when needed.

Remote Work, Your Way

Remote work isn’t a perk—it’s how we work. You have the freedom to work from wherever suits you, with the trust, flexibility, and support to build your days around your life, not the other way around.

No Arbitrary KPIs – Just Fair, Transparent Expectations!

We don’t use KPIs to measure your worth or manage your day. But we do ask that 80% of your agreed hours be spent on billable work. It keeps things sustainable for you and consistent for the people you support.

Proven Digital Systems – No More Spreadsheets (Seriously!)

We use reliable digital tools that make your work easier, not harder—all provided for you. Say goodbye to clunky spreadsheets!

Full Intake and Administrative Support

You’ll be backed by a team that handles intake, admin, and all the behind-the-scenes tasks, so you’re free to focus on client work.

Fair and Competitive Contractor Rates

We offer a competitive hourly rate that includes the statutory superannuation guarantee, which we pay on your behalf—no extra admin, no surprises.

Marketing and Referral Streams

With a proven referral stream and ongoing marketing support, we make sure you have steady, reliable opportunities without the pressure.

NDIS Compliance and Registration

You’ll be backed by our NDIS registration and compliance processes, giving you the security and peace of mind to focus on what matters—our participants.

Support When You Need It Most

A quick chat with a colleague, a debrief or supervision with a manager, or confidential support through our Employee Assistance Program (EAP), you’re never on your own at CoAbility. There’s always someone to talk to.

Values-Driven Work

We live and work by our values. Everyone who joins CoAbility is expected to share our commitment to integrity, respect, inclusion, excellence, collaboration and autonomy.

Inclusion Is in Our DNA

As a queer, neurodivergent, woman-owned organisation, we don’t just talk about inclusion—we live it. We celebrate diverse ways of thinking, being, and working, and we’re committed to creating spaces where everyone feels welcome and supported.

Stability You Can Count On

Some of our contractors have been with us for seven years—working at their own pace, with the support they need. We’ve built something that lasts, with employment pathways offered to those who align with our values and make meaningful contributions. However, many happily choose to stick with the contractor life.
