The Opportunity
This role is for a contractor, meaning you’ll manage your sole trader business obligations, including insurance, tax, and other business expenses.

The Role
As a CoAbility Support Coordinator, you will be pivotal in providing exceptional support services to Level 2 and 3 participants. Your work will directly impact and make a real difference in the lives of our participants.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Achieving Participant Outcomes: Develop tailored support solutions, assist with plan reviews, and report on achieved outcomes.
- Empowering Participants: Help participants connect with services, understand their NDIS plans, and build self-advocacy skills.
- Navigating Challenges: Assist with negotiating service agreements, reducing barriers, and addressing crises.
- Building Resilience and Support Networks: Resolve points of crisis, strengthen participant networks, and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Upholding Organisational Standards: Model and reinforce CoAbility’s values, culture, and practices.
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Community Services) and at least 2 years experience in NDIS Support Coordination or case management. (Or relevant transferable skills)
- Demonstrated knowledge of the NDIS and a deep understanding of the disability support sector.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with diverse clients.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving the best outcomes for participants.
- Proficiency in using digital systems and technologies to support your work.
- A genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities.
You will also need:
- 100 Points of Identification.
- A valid Driver’s License and comprehensively insured motor vehicle.
- Full Australian working rights.
- An Australian Business Number (ABN).
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Your State’s Working with Children Check.
- Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
- Copies of relevant course certification.
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach to challenges.
